1. What are pixels?

Answer to 1: A dot or square that makes up a image digitally.

2. How is color viewed in computer monitors?

Answer to 2: From pixels that show color that we can see.

Answer to 3: A display that tells you how light makes up color.

4. Describe which additive color sliders values in InDesign you would use to make white and black.

Answer to 4: White is 255 RGB and for black its 0 RGB.

5. What is the subtractive color space?

Answer to 5: When multiple pigments are combined to reflect light that create a new color.

6. Describe which subtractive color sliders values in InDesign you would use to make white and black.

Answer to 6: For white its 0% CYMK and for Black its 100% CYMK.

7. What is color calibration?

Answer to 7: To adjust the color of to make it more clear.

8. How does the PMS (Pantone Matching System) color system ensure color fidelity?

Answer to 8: It assigns a numerical code to each color.

9. What is analog color (analog ≠ analogous)?

Answer to 9: Colors next to each other on a color wheel that are somewhat similar to each other on the spectrum.

10. What is digital color?

Answer to 10: A color generated on a device to create an image.
